You pay your DLA or WPMS to Motability Finance for 3 years

You choose an initial rental, usually Nil, but sometimes more if you require a more upmarket car.

You can drive up to 15,000 miles per year (please note that you will be charged if you exceed this)

Full RAC cover is included.

Comprehensive insurance for up to two nominated drivers is included.

You must arrange for any adaptations to be removed at the end of the agreement, and you will be responsible for any costs incurred.

Providing that you have kept to the conditions of the agreement and are free of accidents, you will have no further expenses other than to cost of fuel, top up oil, and road tax (if you aren't exempt).

You do not own a 3 year contract hire vehicle at any time, although you may be able to purchase it off the dealer at the end of the contract.

HP agreements are available for either 4 or 5 years for new cars and to qualify your DLA or WPMS award must last for the length of the agreement starting from the delivery date plus eight weeks processing time

You will not own the car until the end of the HP agreement or until you make an early settlement of all monies due in accordance with the terms of the HP agreement

You are responsible for covering the car with fully comprehensive insurance at you own cost. This must be with a recognised insurer and over your intended use for the period of the contract

As well as fuel and oil, you will be responsible for the cost of maintenance and repairs, plus any adaptations you may need. A full breakdown and recovery package is NOT included

There are not mileage limits, are therefore no mileage charges to pay

You may decide that the lower price of a used car is a better option particularly if you require a better equipped model.

Used car HP agreements are available for 2 or 3 years, so you will require DLA or WPMS for at least the period of the agreement starting from the delivery date.

The car will require an AA inspection which you will be charged for.
